- Tsukiakari no Michishirube is the first single to have a Regular Edition version, Limited Edition version, and Anime Edition version. Stereopony’s eighth single Chiisana Mahou shares this trait.
- Tsukiakari no Michishirube is the second single to have its covers rotated 90-degrees counterclockwise, where the tops of its cover images border the CD case’s hinge. Smilife was the first.
- Tsukiakari no Michishirube is the first single to not include its music video in its Limited Edition DVD. Instead, it includes a special edition of the music video for “Seishun ni, Sono Namida ga Hitsuyou da!” — the music video of the previous Stereopony release. This pattern continues with future releases up until Stereopony’s tenth single Arigatou.
- “Tsukiakari no Michishirube” was used as the opening theme for the anime Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini. It is Stereopony’s second song to be used as the opening theme for an anime and Stereopony’s fourth anime tie-in overall.
- “Tsukiakari no Michishirube” peaked at number eight on the Oricon Charts.
