On Saturday, April 7th, 2012 Very Good Days! was able to sit down with our second interview with Stereopony.
After the conclusion of our interview we had a few special moments with Stereopony that we would like to share with you.
Through the combined efforts of Hirokazu Tanaka (Hirotana) and Eddie Lai (Elsuke), Very Good Days! was able to present a signed banner to Stereopony. Hiro-san designed the banner, and Eddie had it made in Chicago overnight. Eddie then went the extra mile in making sure the banner safely arrived in Seattle. We brought the banner to the concert, and it received lots of praise by staff and concert attendees. It was even filmed by Pan-kun, the Stereopony videographer. During the concert the banner was held by us in the front row! Immediately following the concert was the Stereopony autograph signing. We gathered fans to come sign the banner, and were proactive in making sure the banner signing was hidden from Stereopony. Even Stereopony’s own staff signed the banner! It was a really fun operation.

After the conclusion of our interview the banner was finally revealed as a gift to Stereopony. First Eddie recited a special message to Stereopony that he had written with Hiro’s assistance. Eddie practiced for days and it was done quite well. (You can read the speech here.) Halfway through the speech we unrolled the banner… We expected a nice reaction, but what happened next really touched us. The girls appreciation was quite vocal, and there was genuine shock. Both AIMI and SHIHO were actually in tears. They were truly moved by the gesture! After Eddie finished reciting the speech we also handed AIMI, NOHAHAN, and SHIHO each a Very Good Days! Tote Bag that said “The World Loves Stereopony” as well their very own Very Good Days! t-shirt! (Which are available if anyone wants one!)
